Once you have identified your passions and purpose, you may want to create a vision statement for your life. Remember, this is a work-in-progress, so it doesn’t need to be perfect. But having a vision statement that is clear, vivid and focused will help you work with The Law of Attraction to get more of what you want in your life.
Here is one way to write a vision statement:
Put it in the present tense…
I (or we) are doing WHAT (your passions) for x,y,z reasons WHY (your purpose).
We are working with xxx clients or customers to earn gross revenues of xxx per year GOALS.
Because of this, we are able to attract more VALUES (things we really care about) in our lives.
Add as much detail as possible. The more real the vision, the more likely it will manifest in reality. Use language (and visual, auditory or other forms of expression) that make it vivid, exciting and emotional to you.
If you are a visual person, you may choose to create a vision board. The easiest way to do this is to clip pictures from magazines of things you want to attract in your life…places you would like to live or travel, homes or cars you love, people doing work that inspires you…anything to serve as a visual reminder of what you want your life to look like.
My vision board is filled with scenes from nature, tranquil spas, people doing yoga and dancing, and exotic places I want to visit. People who have studied the Law of Attraction say that just by putting the photographs on a vision board, you are likely to attract a good percentage of the things you envision!
Make sure your vision is an expression of YOU…your values, your passions, your desires. You are a unique human being, and your vision should be a natural extension of what you believe in and care about.
Don’t worry about perfection. A vision is fluid, adaptable, and changes with the ebb and flow of life. Just get something down on paper that INSPIRES YOU NOW!
Finally, don’t worry about the HOW right now. If you get the WHAT and the WHY right, the HOW just requires some strategic thinking and planning.
Please don’t just read these words. You can create the life of your dreams…but YOU are the only one who can create your own unique vision. Do it here, do it now, and do it as often as you feel inspired.
